Microsoft has released a playable demo for Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties, the second expansion pack for Age of Empires III.The trial version of Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties allows
players to play as the new Japanese civilization, or as the
imperialistic British. Players also have the opportunity to try out the
new random map Honshu, and the King of the Hill game type!
From renowned real-time strategy developers Big
Huge Games and Ensemble Studios, “Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties”
introduces gamers to Asian civilizations and a host of new gameplay features.
Players will experience firsthand the rich and historical influences of
Asia while commanding their units and expanding their empire in the Eastern
world.
I would like to know if this expansion allowed for a hodge podge of Asian units instead of having them organized into distinct civilizations. If the player could arrange different Asian units into their army, then it would really give the sense of Asians united which would definitely appeal more to Asian gamers.
