We have word from Take-Two Interactive that Bioshock, the first-person shooter game developed by 2K Boston, has now sold over two million copies worldwide across Xbox 360 and PC.
Take-Two Interactive must be pretty happy. They were forced to delay
Grand Theft Auto IV out of 2007, but the surprise success of 2K Games'
BioShock (2K is a division of Take-Two) means they found themselves
with an awful nice band-aid. In announcing their financial results for
the fourth quarter, Take-Two confirmed BioShock has now sold over two
million copies worldwide across Xbox 360 and PC.
