Eurogamer.de has word from Glen Schofield - executive producer - that the action survival horror developed by EA Redwood Shores, Dead Space, will be released on PC platform as well, in addition to the previously announced console versions (Xbox 360 and PC).
Set in the cold blackness of deep space, the atmosphere is soaked with
a feeling of tension, dread and sheer terror. In Dead Space, players
step into the role of engineer Isaac Clarke – an ordinary man on a
seemingly routine mission to fix the communications systems aboard a
deep space mining ship. It is not long before Isaac awakes to a living
nightmare when he learns that the ship’s crew has been ravaged by a
vicious alien infestation. He must fight through the dead silence and
darkness of deep space to stay alive.
Although they have also confirmed that there will be sequels. In translation: they're already thinking about a sequel to an unreleased game that may completely suck ^_^ ... something like Crysis. n00bs
Glen Schofield: I would definitely like to make future Dead Space games. I'd love for this to become a well established franchise; we've created a huge and rich back story and universe, so other games could easily be made
