Below are some sample screenshots
from the demo of the PC video game Crysis. They show the differences
between the DirectX 9 and DirectX 10 versions. All screenshots were
captured with FRAPS at 1280x1024 with 16Q AA and downsized. The DX9
screens have all video settings set high while DX10 screens are set to
very high (very high is only a selectable option when running DX10,
otherwise high is the limit). The game was run on Vista-x64 using a XFX
GeForce 8800GTS 640MB with the beta Nvidia 169.01 drivers. There are
probably many more differences out there, both subtle and obvious,
waiting to be pointed out.
