Microsoft Game Studios has announced that Gears of War will be released on the PC this year.The game is compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows Live.

The Games for Windows version will include:

Anew multiplayer game mode
Five new campaign chapters
DirectX 10 suppor
Three new multiplayer maps
Game Editor
