Monolith and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have announced Project Origin, the direct sequel to the 2005 first person-shooter game, F.E.A.R., that will come out for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. Becarefull not to confuse this title with Vivendi's F.E.A.R.: Perseus Mandate, which can not use the characters from Monolith's 2005 shooter.
The sequel will continue the original game’s
spine-tingling supernatural suspense story of an escalating paranormal
crisis that threatens to destroy a major American city. At the center of
the calamity is the mysterious Alma, whose rage against those who
wronged her triggered a chain of events that have spiraled completely
out of control. Now that she has free reign, the consequences will be
unimaginable.
