Quake Live got its first update today, after almost 3 weeks of public beta-testing.
The patch will require a reinstall of the browser plug-in and after that you're good to go.
Change list:
Game Changes:
--Fixed - Several mouse initialization issues where the mouse would lose focus on the appropriate window. --Change - Nailgun - nails now bounce (about 60% of the nails shot bounce once). --Addition - Obituary weapon icon. When you're fragged, the weapon you
were killed with now shows up next to the name of the person that
killed you. --Fixed - There was often a "hitch" at the end of a match before the scoreboard appeared. This should be fixed. --Change - Hitting F3 during training now goes straight into the match. --Fixed - should not be telefragging anymore in Free for All or Team Deathmatch games. --Change - cg_truelightining now range capped from 0 to 1 --Fixes - miscellaneous fixes to crashes that have been reported. --Fixes - Various changes to arenas to fix minor clipping, z-fighting or other visual issues.
Web:
--Fix - Remember me is now fixed --Change - added and changed visual display of clan tags everywhere on site - should be more distinguishable from name. --Change - Re-formatted site structure a bit to accommodate a wider right column (wider chat list/box). --Add - Share button to match results - this allows you to easily share
a link to games with most social networks or other web sites. --Add - A community tab to our News page. With all of the QUAKE LIVE
community activity, we wanted to bring you the highlights straight from
QUAKE LIVE.
Backend:
--A majority of our work continues to be in making changes to our
back-end systems to improve performance and accommodate more players.
