S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky Announced
GSC Gameworld has announced that is working on S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky the upcoming next game in the post-apocalyptic series. This new title is actualy a prequel to Shadow of Chernobyl as it goes into the origins on one
of the main characters of the first game .The Zone it will be bigger and according to the producers 50% of the Zone is taken from the
original game (but altered) and 50% is compounded from new locations.
For the moment we have only a teaser website but new features are mentioned in a small
window, containing the following features:
- DirectX 10 support
- Visually improved version of the
previously used X-Ray Engine
- A better A.I.
- New enemies
- A better physics system
- A more advanced PDA interface
There's also a release date: 1st
quarter of 2008
